Mental health at work

Work is one of the strongest determinants of mental health, in both directions. Our work here is practical: reduce what is avoidably harmful in how the organisation operates, and make real support available to the people who need it.

The problem we are asked to solve

Wellbeing initiatives often sit alongside the organisation rather than inside it, and leave leaders without the skills the situation requires.

    • Rising stress-related absence with no clear pattern of cause
    • Managers who see someone struggling and do not know what to say
    • Return-to-work after long-term sick leave handled badly
    • Support offered as a benefit nobody uses

    How we work

At three levels — the organisation, the leader, and the individual — because interventions at only one of them rarely hold.

    Organisational level

Reviewing workload, clarity, autonomy and leadership practice: the conditions that produce strain in the first place.

    Leader capability

Training managers to notice early signals, hold a supportive conversation, and know the boundary of their role.

    Individual support

Confidential support and resilience work for people under sustained pressure, including structured return-to-work.

    Crisis response

Rapid, trauma-informed support after a serious incident, loss or acute event affecting a workplace.

    Who it is for

    • HR and occupational health leaders building a coherent mental health approach
    • Organisations in high-pressure or high-exposure sectors
    • Managers responsible for people they are worried about
    • Individuals in demanding roles carrying sustained strain

    What changes

    • Earlier intervention, before absence becomes long-term
    • Managers who act with confidence instead of avoiding the conversation
    • Support that people actually use because it feels safe to
    • A workplace where struggling is not a career risk

    Let's talk about your situation

Every engagement begins with a conversation. We listen first, then design something that fits your organisation — not a template.
