Emotional Intelligence forhealthier, stronger organisations
People need to feel well to perform well. We work with emotional and relational intelligence, psychological safety and what neuroscience and neuroception tell us about how people respond under pressure — so that leaders can lead honestly, teams stay connected when things get hard, and performance is something your people can sustain.
Leadership development, coaching, mental health support, conflict management and evidence-based assessment — with organisations across 64 countries and 15+ industries.
What we believe
People need to feel well to perform well
Wellbeing and performance are not two separate agendas that have to be balanced against each other. Sustainable performance grows out of how people feel and how they relate — out of relationships that hold when the work gets hard.
Three things make most of the difference. People need to feel seen, safe and included.
And when those three are present, the fourth follows: people become brave enough to grow.
Seen
People need to know that who they are and what they contribute actually matters to someone. Being noticed is not a soft extra; it is the point at which a person starts to invest in the work.
Safe
Safety is what lets people bring their real questions, doubts and ideas into the room. When someone feels safe enough to say what is actually going on, the conversation that follows is always more useful than the one we had planned.
Included
Belonging is something people experience in everyday relationships — in who gets asked, who gets listened to, whose way of working is accommodated. It is lived long before it is written into a policy.
Brave enough to grow
When people feel seen, safe and included, they become willing to take the risk of learning in public: to ask, to disagree, to admit mistakes and to keep going. That willingness is what turns a team into a place where everyone keeps getting better.
This is why we work with relational intelligence as much as emotional intelligence: what happens between people — how trust is built, how conflict is handled, how connection survives disagreement — is part of the conditions that make good work possible, not something beside it.

How do we build teams that hold together through the highs and the lows?
It is the question we return to most often with our clients. Resilient teams are not the ones that avoid difficulty; they are the ones that stay connected while they go through it. We do not think there is a formula for that. But we do believe there are conditions and practices that make it far more likely. This is what we call culture.
Authenticity
People can show up as themselves rather than as a role. When someone can say what they actually think, or admit they are struggling, colleagues get accurate information about what is really going on — and can respond to it.
Openness
Difficult things get spoken about and explored rather than managed quietly around the edges. Teams that can name a tension early rarely need to repair a rupture later.
Trust
Trust is not declared; it accumulates. It grows through repeated experiences of being heard, respected and safe with one another, and it is what a team draws on when there is pressure, uncertainty or bad news.
Practised together, over time, they build teams that can navigate pressure, conflict and change without losing each other along the way. Much of our team development, conflict management and leadership work is simply careful attention to these things.
How we work with teamsWhat we help with
Three connected areas of work: developing the people who lead, supporting organisations through the difficult human situations, and measuring what matters before big decisions.
Leadership and teams
Building the capability of the people who set the tone — individually, as leaders, and as teams.
People, health and difficult situations
Support when work becomes hard: strain, conflict and crisis, handled with care and impartiality.
Assessment and recruitment
Evidence-based measurement for appointment, succession and development decisions.
Countries we have worked in
Industries
The same human questions come up everywhere — they are simply expressed differently. Our work is always adapted to the culture and context we are in.
Why organisations work with EQ-People
We are practitioners rather than presenters. We tend to be brought in when something human is at stake — a leader under strain, a team that has lost trust, a culture where people have stopped saying what they think — and we stay close to the people involved.
We work with emotional intelligence and relational intelligence together — what happens inside people and what happens between them
Everything we do is grounded in neuroscience and neuroception, and in trauma-informed practice
Psychological safety is treated as an everyday relational habit, not a survey score
Evidence-based assessment when a decision genuinely warrants it, never as a default
Humanistic values, inclusion and DEI run through the work rather than sitting alongside it
Senior practitioners who stay with you through the difficult parts, not only the launch
